One of the best sandwiches I had in Italy and better food options in Rome. We went here right before visiting the Vatican museum, which was only about less than a 10 minutes walk away. There's a few seating inside the small shop and outside as well.
The menu is quite extensive so there's a sandwich for everyone's test. My boyfriend and I opted for the ciro since it had chili in it. The ciro panini included black pork cheek grill, cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and chili jam. It was a perfect mixture of sweet, savory, and crunch.
I noticed that they sell a bunch of different jarred items including the spicy jam. This is a great meal or snack before or after the Vatican museum! -

We walked here after we finished walking the Vatican all morning. We were tired but found this place easily. They have menus in different languages and they will ask you what language when you walk in. We both got the simple porkers sandwhich and it was amazing. The bread was crusty and fresh and the porketta melted in your mouth and was super flavourful. Ambiance was nice as well. Would recommend and would go here again if in Rome again

These paninis are so good here! I actually came here twice on my trip because it was so good. It's really close to Vatican City, so after all the sight-seeing works up your appetite, this is the perfect place.
The meats and cheeses are all so fresh. Get the Ciro if you like spice. They have this spicy chili jam that is soooo good, they even sell it if you want to bring it home.
There's not much seating on the inside and outside, but we were able to find seating both times. -

You are greeted by two friendly people as you enter. The friendly raspy-voiced woman appreciates your effort at Italian when you say Bongiorno but she talks to you in English anyways. You tell her you want a spicy sandwich with porchetta, maybe eggplant and arugula. She suggests cheese instead of eggplant. You concur. The guy starts your order by slicing thick pieces off the ginormous roast pork in the meat case. When you ask the woman if you can charge your phone she guides you to a corner seat near an outlet. She brings the sandwich in a few minutes and types the free WiFi password into my phone when I ask her for it.
PS The sandwich was just as amazing as the service. -

Great sandwich place near the Vatican! Went from St Peter's to here and then to the museum so it was really a couple block detour. A few seats inside and out. Sandwiches were very flavorful. Could tell everything was fresh! The bread had a great texture. We got the Merlot and Chianti and loved them both! Really kind staff.
